When a patio needs repointing
If the pointing is cracked, crumbling, missing in places or growing weeds, cleaning alone won't fix the look. Worn joints also let water get under the slabs, which can loosen them over time.
What's included
- A full clean of the patio first, so the new pointing goes onto clean stone
- Old, loose pointing raked out of the joints
- New pointing laid into the joints and finished neatly
- A clean-up of any residue left on the slabs

Do I need the whole patio repointed?
Not always. If only some joints have failed, I can repoint just those. I'll tell you honestly from the photos or a visit.
How long does repointing take to set?
It depends on the product and the weather. I'll tell you when the patio is ready to walk on and use.
Can you match the existing pointing colour?
I can get close to most standard colours. On a full repoint, the whole patio ends up one even colour.
